I was just wondering....are all the 6 arrows shot out by barrage capable of hitting one single target or do each arrow seek out another target?

no, they can not go on a single target...

and no, you do not always fire 6 arrows... you only fire as many arrow as how many are within the range.

in pvp the situation with 6 arrows are only with many pets, spirits, necro minions or some major place like king of the hill spot. Otherwise you won't hit more than 3-4 at max.

It is great skill actually - used in the right combo/time it can deliver a devastatning effect. - For example multiply Mark of Pains and 1 ranger spamps Barrage!
